To delete a business account, you must be an owner of the account and must first delete or transfer all locations within the account.

  • Sign in to Google My Business.
  • On the account, you want to delete, click the three-dot menu icon, and click Delete.
  • Click OK to continue. You may need to sign in to your GMB account again.
  • Review the info on your screen. Select the boxes to confirm you want to delete
  • Click “Delete account” to permanently delete your business account and all of its data.
  • But before you go and delete the account, be sure first that this is really the best thing to do to address the specific reasons you have for wanting to delete it. There might be a better option that fits perfectly for your scenario.

Use the PlaceID Lookup Tool below.
Enter your business name in the “Enter a location” field at the top of the map.
Click your business name in the list that appears.
Copy your Place ID, which you'll see beneath your business name.

Add / show to your Album URL (or photostream, fave page URLs), go into the slideshow, look to top right and grab the embed code form Share.



1. Open your Album

2. Look to the white bar, with the "https:// etc thingy, that is the Internet Address of your Album, it is called the URL

3. Add /show to the end of that URL

4. Press on "Enter"

5. Now you are in the slideshow

6. Look to top right hand corner

7. You will see a bunch of options, among them Share: click on Share

8. Grab the "embed HTML " code under Share

9. Paste it wherever needed.

10. Done.

Listings for the same business at different addresses








    

  • If the incorrect address is an old address of the business (they were there at some point in time):
    • 

  • Contact Google My Business through Twitter Support (@googlemybiz) and ask them to mark the old listing as moved.
    • 

  • If the incorrect address is one that the business has never existed at:
    • 

  • Go into Google Maps, select “Suggest an Edit”, switch the toggle beside “Place is permanently closed” to “yes”, select “Never Existed” as the reason, and press submit.  *Note: if there are reviews on the listing, you should get them transferred before doing this.
